Grilled Zucchini and Squash


  • 2 medium zucchinis
  • 2 medium yellow squash
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (optional, for garnish)


  1. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat, around 400°F (200°C).

  2. Wash the zucchinis and yellow squash, then slice them into 1/4-inch (0.6 cm) rounds.

  3. In a small bowl, combine the olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper.

  4. Brush both sides of the zucchini and squash slices with the olive oil mixture.

  5. Place the slices directly on the preheated grill grates.

  6. Grill the zucchini and squash for 3-4 minutes per side, or until they are tender and have grill marks.

  7. Once grilled, transfer the zucchini and squash to a serving platter.

  8. Garnish with chopped fresh parsley, if desired.
